This Used 2007 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt 1956 Stratocaster Relic by John Cruz in Black over 3 Color Sunburst is in great shape and here on consignment. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
John Cruz built guitars have been coveted for years. Especially since his SRV #1 Tribute model earned him Legendary Luthier Status when they doubled in value, practically overnight. John has made some of the finest guitars for the finest players, though he is no longer with the Fender Custom Shop. As such, this is not only a phenomenal electric guitar, it's also a valuable collectible.
With a set of Abby Handwound Fat 50's pickups, this guitar sounds incredible! These pickups are dynamic, sparkly, and chimey. A 5-way switch, Master Volume, and 2 tone controls grant access to the awesomeness.
The neck is carved to a 10/56 Profile with a 9.5" radius and vintage frets. The 10/56 morphs from a V to a full U shape around the 7th to 9th frets. The back of the neck is stripped of lacquer and has a smooth and dry feel to it.
