The Gibson Custom 1961 ES-335 Reissue in '60s Cherry is an exceptionally cool guitar. With its Slim Taper Neck, this 335 has the thin neck many Gibson players prefer thanks to it thin, flat, and fast feel.
Loaded with a pair of Custombucker Alnico 3 Humbuckers, this guitar has a warmer, smoother, less in-your-face tonal qualities compared to an Alnico 5. These pickups sound much more musical when played clean. Gone is that huge hump in the low-mids that can make some 335s sound muddy.
