This Used 2016 Gibson Les Paul Special in Vintage Cherry is here on trade. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Overall, the guitar is in clean cosmetic condition with only light wear typical of careful playing. Included with the guitar is a hardshell Gibson case.
The Les Paul Special is loaded with a pair of P-90 pickups and a wrap-around bridge for a distinctly 50s flair. Each pickup has its own volume and tone control. A 3-way pickup selector switch makes it easy to find the sound you are looking for.
The neck is made from Mahogany and has a nice, full feel without being bloated. The fingerboard is made of Rosewood and is bound for the classic Gibson look. It has 22 Medium Jumbo Frets, a 12" fingerboard radius, and 24.75" scale length; all classic Gibson Specs.
The body is made of Mahogany and keeps the reciped for the Special simple. Without the carved Maple top, the Special is far more affordable and lighter weight. Finished in Vintage Cherry, this is a great looking guitar that has started to darken up a bit, as Nitrocellulose Finishes do over the years.
