The Adam Jones Signature Les Paul combines elements of the Custom and Standard models for a unique look. The Antique Silverburst finish gives it the look of a 70/80s era Les Paul Custom that has a perfect patina on it. The Ebony fingerboard gives is another Custom element that helps elevate this signature to another level. With the simpler binding and Trapezoid inlays of the Standard, this guitar elegantly combines elements from Gibson 2 most popular Les Paul's of all time.
The DC High Gain Humbucker in the bridge nails the sound of Tool, perfectly. If you love Jones's pummeling rhythm tones, you'll have a hard time putting this guitar down. The neck pickup is a Burstbucker 1 which provides thick, soaring lead sounds even on plain strings. A pair of volume and tone controls along with a 3-way pickup toggle round put the electronic details.
The neck is made from Mahogany and it has the Rounded Profile. The bound fingerboard is made from ebony which has a 12" fingerboard radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets.
