This Used 2009 Fender American Vintage 52 Telecaster in Butterscotch Blonde is here on trade. It is in great shape for its age. The neck is straight, the frets have some minor wear in the cowboy chord positions, and the truss rod functions properly. We Pleked this guitar back in 2009. The body is in great shape, and there is nothing negative worth mentioning. Included with the guitar are the original hardshell case, strap, cable, an extra 6 saddle bridge (for some reason), and its original bridge cover. We just set it up with a set of Ernie Ball 9 gauge strings, and it is playing great!

This is the Ash-bodied, Maple-necked twang machine that got things going for Fender! A recreation of a very early Telecaster, often referred to as a Black Guard, this is THEE Tele for chickin' pickers, Rock-A-Billy's, strummers, finger pickers... it's an absolute staple of the electric guitar world. No other guitar sounds quite like it thanks to its tonewood combo, and unique bridge thru-body design. A specific set of ingredients came together on the Blackguards that produced what has gone on to be one of the most popular tones of all time. Change the crust on your favorite pizza? Not your favorite anymore. New Coke? Nah, gimme the old one. New Improved Recipe! Aaand, ya ruined it. See where I'm going? Leo Fender crushed it with this original design, and it continues to be a player favorite some 70 years later.
