This Used 2022 Fender Custom Shop '60 Telecaster Journeyman Relic Lefty Strung Righty in Fiesta Red is here on consignment. We pleked the guitar on August 28th of 2024, and the frets remain in great shape. The neck is straight, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar is the certificate of authenticity and original hardshell case.
This guitar was refinished and aged by RS Guitarworks. It was originally ordered in Vintage White.
This is an interesting mash-up spec-wise as it's not true to a 1960 Tele. We have a Swamp Ash body paired with a quartersawn maple neck that is topped with a Rosewood fingerboard. So, we get the bright kerrang from the Swamp Ash Body but a tapered plosive from the rosewood fingerboard.
The neck profile is the 52 U Shape that measures in at .990" deep at the 1st and 12th frets. So, this neck doesn't taper, it's just FAT! A 9.5" fingerboard radius and 6105 frets are paired for a great playing surface.
A pair of handwound Twisted Tele pickups are tied to a master volume, master tone, and 3 way pickup selector switch. These pickups sound phenomenal and offer incredible touch senstivity and dynamics.
