This Used 2024 Fender Custom Shop GC 1952 Telecaster Heavy Relic in Nocaster Blonde is here on trade. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar are the original hardshell case, certificate of authenticity, and shop traveler.
This is a fairly standard 1950s-era Telecaster with a Swamp Ash Body and a large Maple Neck. It can cluck and strut with the best of them, as it is perfectly at home helping you pick chickens. Bright, snappy, and biting, it's got all the tonal hallmarks you'd want out of an early Tele.
The neck is made from plain grain maple, and it is carved to a 52 Style U profile that has a solid, medium-sized feel. It measures .860" at the 1st fret and .920" at the 12th. Other numbers like a 9.5" radius, 6105 frets, 25.5" scale, and 1.65 nut width make this a great-playing guitar with a familiar feel.
It comes equipped with the Nocaster Pickup Set, which are time-tested and player-approved! The bridge pickup bites and barks when needed, while the neck pickup has a warm, slightly muted quality that the early Tele pickups are known for. In the middle, we find the best of both worlds with a well-balanced, full-sound. Amaster volume, master tone, and 3-way pickup switch cover the electronic controls.
The guitar is heavily aged with all the classic wear and tear you'd expect. From the exposed undercoat where your arm would rub on it, to the rashing on the back through to the wood, all intentionally and expertly executed by the artisans at the Fender Custom Shop.
