This Used 2017 Fender Custom Shop Ltd NAMM '60 Jazz Bass Relic in Aged Ocean Turquoise is here on trade. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the bass are the original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
The extra holes in the body by the bridge pay homage to the fact that Fender Basses used to come with mutes on them. Many players removed the mutes, and subsequently, they were left with the holes you see on this bass near the bridge. The Custom Shop loves to dip into its history and recreate cool things like this.
Other than that, this is a pretty standard '60s J Bass with an Alder Body, Maple Neck, and Rosewood Fingerboard. A pair of hand-wound J bass pickups perfectly replicate the tones of the era with more detail and nuance than machine-wound pickups.
