This Used 1964 Gibson B-25 12-String Acoustic Guitar in Natural is here on consignment. The neck is straight, the frets are in decent shape, and the truss rod functions. The neck has been reset, the bridge has been reglued, a crack in the top under the pickguard has been fixed, and the brace across the back of the guitar has been reglued. The guitar shows typical cosmetic wear of a guitar that's been around for 60+ years. You can see a somewhat deep scratch on the back of the guitar, though it doesn't make it through the wood. This is the worst of the cosmetic wear and tear. Included with the guitar is the very nice hardshell case shown in the photos.
Back in the day, the B-25 was a student model guitar from Gibson, and this here is a 12-string version. Less common than their 6-string brothers, this is a very comfortable 12-string due to the smaller body size.
This 12-string is all mid-range. Not as jangly as the Guild F412, this guitar has a focused, articulate sound that will certainly add some harmonic density to any chord progression. I often refer to Gibsons from this era as Lullaby Guitars: sweet, warm, rich. This one fits that description perfectly!
