The Les Paul Studio has long been the meat and potatoes, bang for the buck model from Gibson. This 2021 Studio Plus has an AA Figured Maple top to up the look. It also has some nice Trapezoid Inlays to add to the aesthetics even further. Though it lacks the binding on the body and fingerboard of the Standard, let's be real, plastic doesn't make a guitar sound any better!
It has the classic 490R and 498T Pickup set with a coil-tap on each volume control. So you'll have both humbucking and single-coil tones on tap! Each pickup has its own tone control and is accessible on its own or in tandem via a 3-way toggle switch.
The neck is made of Mahogany, the fingerboard of rosewood, and it features the much-loved Slim Taper profile. With medium jumbo frets and a 12" fingerboard radius, this guitar feels much like any other USA Gibson you've played.
