The longer scale, wider nut counter-part to the Martin 000, the Martin OM-28 Acoustic Guitar in Natural offers crisp chords, loaded with sustain. Thanks to the combo of East Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce, we have a warm and sweet-sounding guitar. The smaller body size keeps it comfy but this guitar is anything but small when it comes to tone.
Compact and commanding, scalloped bracing brings your sound to life—fingerpicking, strumming, or soloing. Perfect balance across all six strings, bold herringbone, East Indian rosewood, ebony, Sitka spruce, and vintage appointments give a classic look to a timeless sound.
The neck is made from select hardwood and then topped with an Ebony Fingerboard. The neck is carved to a Modified Low Oval Profile with the High-Performance Neck taper. A slightly wider 1.75" Nut width and slightly longer 25.4" Scale are perfect for the finger-picker or the player with thicker fingers.
