This Used 1971 Martin 0-18 Acoustic Guitar in Natural is here on consignment. The neck is straight, and the frets are still in decent condition. It has a non-adjustable truss rod in it, as was the case with Martin guitars up until about 1985.
Overall, the guitar is in nice shape. It has a few things on the back that are worth noting. There are a couple of longer scratches along with a spot of some odd finish wear. It likely got a little wet or had a chemical reaction to something, creating a patch of rough finish. For a guitar over 50 years old though, this one is in pretty good shape.
The classic tonewood combo of sitka spruce and mahogany back and sides gives this parlor-sized guitar a focused, dry sound that will do wonderfully in front of some nice mics. The fingerboard on this one is Brazilian Rosewood, while the bridge is made of Indian Rosewood.
