Martin Acoustic Guitars | The Music Gallery
Since 1833, C.F. Martin Acoustic Guitars have been a family owned and operated manufacturer. This tradition continues today but many modern manufacturing techniques are employed to offer consistency and playability beyond what the company founder's could have imagined. Martin used a Plek Machine, something many of our customers are familiar with since we have one at our store in Highland Park! This machine gives you a perfect fretboard radius, perfectly crowned frets and then precisely cuts a nut for the utmost in playability. Potential reached.
Martin is manufacturing their best guitars, from their entry level to their Custom Shop, all are impressive. The Martin DRS Series offers the best tone and playability for the money. Period. While our Custom Shop models feature hand selected woods, custom finishes, and exotic woods from around the globe. Martin manufactures for the player and tone aficionado in all of us, and they certainly do deliver.
From the staple D-18 combining Sitka Spruce and Mahogany Back and Sides to the D-45 with an Adirondack Spruce Top, Madagascar Back and Sides, and more Abalone and Mother of Pearl than your Great Grandma's toilet seat, Martin Guitars are life time instruments built to be passed down to your kids. Quality components, time tested craftsmanship, and a forward thinking mindset will keep Martin at the forefront of acoustic guitar building.

All set up and fully inspected by George MacPhail, our Shop Tech who has seen more guitars than any one could count. Stop by the shop and try out a wealth of options from the Martin Guitar Company.
