Music Man guitars by Ernie Ball are seriously impressive. Modernized Player Guitar's with playability at the forefront of their design. Their dedication to making easy to play guitars seems to be the number 1 priority. While the Music Man production guitars are truly impressive, The BFR or Ball Family Reserve Editions epitomize the cutting edge of design. Taking aesthetics, wood selection and components to a whole other level. Limited Production numbers make them hard to find but they are well worth the effort. Marrying next level design, master craftsmanship, and futuristic thinking, the Ball Family Reserve Instruments truly take things to the future!
One of our favorite Music Man concepts is the Oil and Wax Finished necks that stay smooth and dry no matter how hot the stage lights gets. Never tacky, never sticky, this amazing finish has opened many a player to the Music Man thang. Their pickup selection is always on point too. The Albert Lee model's all sound impeccable for their pickup choice. The Pertucci's rip and crush yet are somehow articulate. The Piezo acoustic pickup built into to some of their instruments allows for instant acoustic tones at the flick of a switch. Sophisticated but easy to navigate electronics make Music Man guitars some of the most sonically versatile guitars to ever have been made.
