The PRS CE 24 Electric Guitar in Blue Matteo offers serious bang-for-the-buck! A Bolt-On PRS is truly a thing of beauty. For those of us who prefer a little more snap from the strings AND the ability to take the neck for whatever reason may be, the CE Series from PRS is hard to argue against!
The Bolt-On PRS model provides a snappier neck response than the brand's set-neck models. Switching the neck material to maple from mahogany only adds to the brighter, livelier quality of the bolt-on concept. The neck on this guitar is carved to the Wide-Thin Profile for fast and easy riffing. A rosewood fingerboard features a 10" fingerboard radius and Birds Inlays.
A pair of 85/15 pickups provide a wealth of tones, thanks in part to onboard coil-tapping via push/pull controls. A master volume, master tone, and 3-way pickup toggle switch make it easy to find the sound you are looking for.
Since the dawn of rock and roll, the snap and response that comes from a bolt-on neck guitar have been an essential part of the mix. These attributes have, in turn, become essential to many players trying to tell their stories through music. The CE 24 pairs PRS’s traditional body combination of the mahogany back and maple top with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The neck sports a Pattern Thin carve and satin nitro finish for a natural, addictive feel. To further maximize the guitar’s inherent tone and clarity, the CE 24 features PRS 85/15 pickups, which Paul designed to have remarkable clarity as well as the extended high and low end. The electronics consist of a volume and push/pull tone control with a 3-way toggle switch for a total of six classic sounds.
The original CE was introduced in 1988 and offered players PRS design and quality with the added snap and sparkle of traditional bolt-on guitars. This electric guitar includes its original gig bag and the full manufacturer's warranty.
