This Used 1974 Fender Stratocaster in 3-Tone Sunburst is here on consignment. The neck is straight, the original frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar is a hardshell case from '76-'79. The body shows some dings, dents, impressions, scratches, and chips in the finish but overall the condition is nice for its age as none of the wear is severe. The back of the neck also has a couple of impressions that your hand will likely find but they aren't that deep or distracting.
The middle pickup was DOA and was just rewound by Pete Flynn to period correct specs. The middle pickup tone control is newer as well is the control knob. The bridge pickup was added to the middle pickup tone control. All other parts are original. This is a nice clean example of a very well sought after early to mid 70's alder body, staggered pole piece, rosewood fingerbord Strat. It also a fresh set up with D'Addario .009's. Not all of these 70's Strat sound great, mostly on the bright side, but this one has a bit more meat to it!
