This Used 1966 Epiphone Sorrento Electric Guitar in Sunburst is here on consignment. Its neck is straight, its original frets have a little life in them however, it will need a refret to reach its potential, and the truss rod functions properly. The body shows all the hallmarks of a vintage guitar. From weather checking to tarnished hardware, and a surprisingly low amount of chips/dings/dents, this guitar looks great for its age!
The guitar is missing its original pickguard and the tuners are not original. There is a set of nickel-plated Grover tuners on here that have aged nicely with the guitar. The bridge and tailpiece appear to be original as do the pickups and electronics. Included with this guitar is a non-original hardshell case.
The Sorrento is much like a Thinline ES-175 in terms of how it looks and feels. Its florentine cutaway has a sharp angular look which compliments its curvy arched top and back nicely. This is a comfortable guitar whether you're sitting or standing, especially since it only weighs 6 lbs 1 oz!
