This Used 1961 Gibson ES-125 TC Electric Guitar in Cherry Sunburst is here on consignment. We found the serial number stamped inside the body which dates it to a 1960 model. We have thoroughly reviewed the instrument to verify its authenticity and everything checks out.
The neck is straight, the frets still have some life left in them though a refret will likely be due next time around. The truss rod functions properly though the bridge is as low as it will go. Currently, the action is nice and the guitar is very playable, especially for its age. The fingerboard does have some pitting on it. The hardware is all original. Included with the guitar is a non-original Gibson Hardshell Case with a Pink Interior and Shroud.
The body shows off weather checking, pick scratches, some light dings, dents, and chips, all the hallmarks of a vintage guitar that saw some miles but was always treated with respect.
