This Fender American Professional Classic Stratocaster in Faded Black is part of a new edition from Fender. This guitar is brand new, includes its original gig bag, and full manufacturer's warranty.
The Professional Classic strips the Professional II Series of its modern features and replaces them with more classic appointments. We have a traditional 6-point tremolo with bent steel saddles, the S1 Switch has been removed, the finish has a faded or aged look, and it comes with a gig bag. A few small changes have brought the price down a little.
The neck is made from Maple, which is topped with a Rosewood fingerboard. It has a modern deep c neck profile along with a 9.5" fingerboard radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets. 1.685" Nut Width provides a little extra wiggle-room between strings, and 25.5" scale length keeps the strings feeling taut.
A trio of 57 Coastline Single Coil Pickups is installed in the Pro Classic. These pickups provide a modern take on the 50s Strat sounds with a little bit more punch and oomph. They are connected to a master volume, 2 tone controls, and a 5 way pickup selector switch.
