We don't see a lot of guitars from Masterbuilder Yuriy Shishkov as his wait list is years and years. However, when we do receive one of his guitars, it's an immediate reminder of WHY he has such a long wait period. Yuriy's guitars are literal perfection. From wood selection to the tastefully executed Journeyman Relic finish, and everything in between, this guitar is nothing short of phenomenal!
The neck is made from quartersawn Maple and is topped with a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. The board has a 9.5" fingerboard radius and 6105 frets. The neck profile is a 60 Style Oval C that measures .790" deep at the 1st fret and .930" deep at the 12th. Classic Fender appointments like 25.5" scale length and 1.65" nut width provide a familiar feel.
A Hand-Wound Set of Stratocaster Pickups would to 60s spec run the gamut of quintessential tones. A 5-way switch is factory-installed, so all the sounds are within reach. A master volume and 2 tone controls cover the electronic details.
