This Gibson 50s LG-2 Acoustic-Electric Guitar in Antique Natural is brand new, and includes its original hardshell case and manufacturer's warranty.
The top on the LG-2 is made from Sitka Spruce. This is the most often used type of wood when it comes to the top of an acoustic guitar. It features hand-scalloped braces also made of spruce. Finished in Antique Natural you'll be able to enjoy all the grain of this beautiful top! The size and shape of this guitar is fairly close to a Parlor though it is a little bigger. It is absolutely a great couch guitar!
The back and sides are made from solid Mahogany. This tonewood provides a focused and articulate sound that is perfect for singing along with. It can whisper when finger-picked or crank out surprisingly full-bodied sounds when flat-picked.
The neck is made from Mahogany and carved to Gibson's V Profile. The fingerboard is made from Indian Rosewood and has a 12" fingerboard radius. The nut is made from bone and the nut width measures 1.724".

A small body acoustic with the full-sized Gibson sound. This little giant produces a charming and seductive tone that rivals much larger-bodied guitars while maintaining exceptional clarity and focus in individual notes. Ideal for folk, blues, and fingerstyle, the delicately balanced 50s LG-2 Original maintains a full dynamic range while being comfortable under arm. Handcrafted solid tonewood and scalloped top bracing provide the warmth and richness that have made spruce and mahogany a classic combination in acoustic flat-top guitars.
