The Streamliner™ Collection combines classic Gretsch design elements with modern features to deliver impressive performance, tone, and style at an exceptional value.
The G2655 Streamliner Center Block Jr. with V-Stoptail brings bold sound and contemporary styling to a more compact instrument. Designed for players seeking enhanced performance, distinctive looks, and increased output, the G2655 delivers the qualities expected from a Gretsch in a smaller-bodied guitar.
Maple Body with New Center Block Design
The G2655 Center Block Jr. features a compact arched maple body built around an all-new center block design. Engineered to balance lightweight comfort with a full, rich voice and increased presence, the redesigned center block improves attack and sustain while offering excellent resistance to feedback, all without adding unnecessary weight.
Broad'Tron™ BT-3S Pickups
The G2655 is equipped with a pair of Broad'Tron™ BT-3S pickups. Using a combination of Alnico 5 and Alnico 2 magnets, these pickups deliver pronounced midrange, tight yet full low frequencies, and smooth, articulate highs with a balanced, musical character.
Versatile Controls with Coil-Splitting
A traditional control layout includes individual volume controls for the neck and bridge pickups, a master tone control, a master volume control, and a three-way pickup selector switch.
The master volume control also features a push/pull function for coil-splitting, providing access to single-coil tones and expanding the guitar's tonal versatility.
