The neck, top, back, and sides are all made from Mahogany. This provides a very warm, rich-sounding guitar. It lacks some of the twang you'll hear from guitars with Spruce tops. So, if twang ain't your thang' the StreetMaster is worth a listen! The fingerboard and bridge are both made from Katalox.
The neck is carved to the Modified Low Oval shape with Martin's Standard Taper. Nut width measures 1 and 11/16" and the nut material is bone. This guitar has been Pleked at the Martin Factory so it plays like a dream!
