Combining the comfortable, portable feel of the Grand Concert body with the enhanced sonic power of V-Class bracing, the Taylor 312ce Acoustic-Electric delivers a high-fidelity acoustic tone with a playing experience that’s second to none. Solid Sapele back and sides bring warmth and balance, while a Sitka spruce top adds sparkle and clarity in the treble range. Under the hood, our new bracing scheme helps this guitar produce surprising volume and incredible sustain with a remarkable soft-touch response, making the 312ce a perfect choice for strummers and fingerpickers alike.
The neck is made from Mahogany and features Taylor's classic, seemingly comfortable to everyone Neck Profile. The fingerboard is made from Ebony and carries a 15" fingerboard radius. The nut width measures 1.75" while the scale length is 24.84".
Taylors Expression System 2 electronics provide a clean, natural plugged-in tone no matter what you plug into. This easy-to-use system consists of 3 small rotary dials that control Volume, Treble, and Bass. Certainly understated compared to some more expensive models from Taylor, the 312ce's spartan black binding and Gemstone inlays add visual flavor that’s minimalist and tasteful.
