The Taylor 322ce Acoustic-Electric Guitar combines the comfortable Grand Concert Body Shape with Taylor's Award-Winning V-Class Bracing for an incredibly voluminous, warm, and rich-sounding small-bodied guitar. With Tasmanian Blackwood Back and Sides combined with a Tropical Mahogany Top, just about everything sounds like a lullaby on this beauty!
Taylor's V-Class bracing lends extra power, sustain, and sweetness to this cutaway Grand Concert, broadening its musical range. Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides produce a strong voice—even in small-body GC—with a meaty midrange focus and a splash of top-end shimmer. The mahogany top adds a touch of natural compression to smooth out the response.
The neck is made from Tropical Mahogany and then topped with an Ebony Fingerboard. 24-7/8" scale length gives the strings a nice slinky feel. 1.75" nut width, a graphite nut, and a 15" fingerboard radius round out the important neck details.
With its microphone-friendly voice, it also makes a great choice for recording, and with the ES2 electronics, produces a clear, flavorful amplified sound. This guitar shows up ready to roll on stage, at the studio, or on the couch!
The dark and earthy aesthetic incorporates a shaded Edgeburst top over the dusky mahogany top, black binding, an all-satin finish, a black pickguard, and small diamond inlays in Italian acrylic.
