This Used 1957 Gibson Les Paul Junior in Tobacco Sunburst is here on consignment from our own Pete Flynn! It's from his private collection, so you know that it must be a phenomenal guitar. It has been well-cared for but shows some aging along with the natural patina developed over time on a nitrocellulose finish.
The guitar was refretted & Plek'ed here at The Music Gallery with 6150 medium jumbo fret wire. The guitar plays exceptionally well. A new but aged Music City Stud Finder Bridge is currently installed, and the original bridge is also included.
Also included with the guitar are the original bridge & tuners, along with the chipboard alligator case (which is in very rough condition), along with a soft shell/gig bag.
The bridge pickup cover was lowered slightly to move it away from the strings. Thanks to an immaculate refret, it has killer low action, and it's a great player with its original screaming, gutsy P-90! It's the total vintage vibe and patina you would expect from such an iconic piece from the Golden Age of Gibson.
