This Used Eastman SB59/V is in on consignment and it is in great shape. It was factory aged so the worn look of the guitar is intentional. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case. We Plek'ed this guitar in 2020 so it is still playing fantastically smooth.
So, since we calls em' as we sees em, this is Eastman's take on a Les Paul. Hey imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, right? Sure, why not! They used good ingredients with a 1 Piece Mahogany Body, Solid and Carved Flame Maple Top, Mahogany Neck, and an Ebony Fingerboard. The neck and body are adhered with Set-Neck Design and it features 24.75" scale length.
A pair of Lollar Custom Aged and Wound Imperial Humbuckers come stock so no upgrade in the electronics department is necessary! Four CTS 500k Pots, Sprague Orange Drop Caps, a Switchcraft 12120x Pickup Toggle, and a Switchcraft Jack round out the important details.
The hardware is aged for a uniform look. We have a Gotoh Relic Series GE-101-NI Tailpiece to go along with the Gotoh Relic Series GE-104B-NI Bride. The tuners are Gotoh Relic Series SD-90.
A One-Piece Mahogany Neck sports a beefy profile that measures in at .840" at the 1st fret and .962" at the 12th fret. The fingerboard is made from Ebony and sports a 12" fingerboard radius. Bone was selected for the Nut Material and it measures in at 1 and 11/16" Nut Width. Jescar 47104 Fretwire was chosen. This medium-wide and tall fret is a great choice, especially for big bends up high. Classic Gibson scale length of 24.75" keeps the strings feeling slinky.
Nobody treats used guitars as we do at The Music Gallery! Every trade-in goes through an inspection, cleaning, restring and set up before being put out on sale. We even put guitars with bad frets through our Plek machine if need be. If this service piques your interest learn more here or give us a call!
