This Used 2015 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Confetti Stratocaster by Jason Smith is here on consignment. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar are the original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
This. is a truly unique piece! A one-of-a-kind built by Jason Smith and finished with a one-of-a-kind Confetti Artwork. It's based on a 1969 Stratocaster with its full-feeling U-neck profile, large headstock, and 69 Single-Coil pickups, hand-wound in the Fender Custom Shop.
The neck is a thing of beauty. It's got a full 69 U-shaped neck profile which measures in at ... A 9.5" fingerboard radius, and medium jumbo frets give you a fantastic playing surface to enjoy. The large, reverse headstock brings that Hendrix vibe to this guitar. Typical Fender appointment of 25.5" scale length and 1.65" nut width give this neck an instantly familiar feel.
Electronically, we have a set of Josefina Handwound 69 Stratocaster Pickups, a master volume, 2 tone controls, and a 5-way pickup selector switch. This guitar produces great quack in positions 2 and 4, and they are bell-like and chimney in every position! Since the pickups are handwound, they exhibit tremendous dynamics and touch sensitivity. They respond to every little turn of the volume or tone knobs and do so with unbridled musicality.
