This Used 2020 Fender Custom Shop Wildwood 10 1957 Stratocaster Wide Fade 2 Tone Sunburst Heavy Relic is here on trade. It is a Heavy Relic so the wear and tear was intentionally executed at the factory. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar are the original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
Part of the Wildwood 10 Series from Wildwood Guitars, this guitar features the retailer's preferred set of specs. Most notable are a 10" fingerboard radius and a set of hand-wound WW10 specs pickups. Wildwood has been making these guitars for years and we have seen a handful of them along the way.
A Swamp Ash body helps this Strat weigh just 6 lbs 15 oz, an exceptional weight for any Strat. A Wide-Fade 2 Tone Sunburst lets the grain on the body peek through for some added depth to its look. Swamp Ash produces bright, brilliant tones, commonly associated with the sounds of the 1950s.
The neck is made from quartersawn maple and is carved to a 57 Soft V Profile. It measures .850" deep at the 1st fret and .990" deep at the 12th. It has 21 x 6105 Frets installed with a 10" fingerboard radius. 1.65" nut width and 25.5" scale length cover the neck's numericals.
