This Used 2000 Gretsch G7594-JR White Falcon Electric Guitar 007594JR-47 is here on consignment. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case. The Gold Plating on the Bigsby has worn considerably despite not being played. This guitar has spent most of the last 27 years in its case, so the plating must have reacted to the glue or fabric in the case. Either way, the guitar is quite Minty other than the tarnished/worn plating on the Bigsby.
This unique version of the White Falcon platform was produced in limited quantities from 1998 to 2004. It features a player-friendly 14” lower bout width, making it a great choice for those who love the classic Gretsch hollowbody sound but prefer a more manageable size.
The maple body comes with trestle bracing and is paired with a maple neck and a bound ebony fingerboard. This combination delivers a rich, natural acoustic tone, along with the clarity and immediacy you’d expect from these tonewoods and bracing. The guitar is equipped with a pair of Filter’Tron pickups that provide impressive clarity, sparkle, and strength. The neck position Filter'Tron humbucker offers a smooth and thick sound, while the bridge position delivers a bright growl, midrange punch, and excellent note attack.
The guitar boasts a pristine gloss White finish with gold sparkle binding. It's in great shape overall, with nothing other than the tarnished hardware worth mentioning. You’ll receive the original Gretsch-branded black tolex hardshell case, which is just as clean as the guitar itself.
