This Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt 62 Stratocaster Heavy Relic by Dennis Galuszka in Faded Lake Placid Blue over Black is brand new and includes its original hardshell case, certificate of authenticity, and manufacturer's warranty. This heavy relic weighs 7 lbs 9 oz.
Dennis Galuszka has been a Masterbuilder at Fender since the early 2000s and he continues to make nothing but exceptional guitars! This guitar is very heavily reliced with all the classic wear and tear. You can easily spot that it features a Color-Over-Color finish, in this case, Faded Lake Placid Blue over Black.
It has a 60s Style Oval C Neck Profile that Strat-Players flock to. It measures .790" deep at the 1st fret and .930" deep at the 12th fret. It's a thin-feeling neck in the 1st position that thickens up nicely as you work your way up the fretboard. The fretboard is made from AAA-Rated Indian Rosewood, carries a 9.5" radius, and has 6105 frets. This is a great playing surface, friendly to bar-chords and big-bends alike!
A set of Handwound 60s Stratocaster Pickups sounds fantastic. With gently scooped mids, round, fat low-end, and sweet bell-like highs, this is an expressive guitar that is inspiriign to play. The other electronic controls are a master volume, 2 tone controls, and a 5-way pickup selector.
