The Les Paul Custom has long been an object of desire due to its elevated level of elegance. Having them in the hands of iconic players like Randy Rhoads, John Fogerty, Robert Fripp, Peter Frampton, and Frank Zappa. With gold hardware, multiple plays of body binding, and the cool headstock inlay, the LP Custom's looks are perfectly elevated!
With the classic tonewood combo of maple and mahogany for the body, this guitar produces a familiar tone immediately. The body of the Custom is not weight-relieved so this electric guitar weighs 10 lbs 7 oz.
The mahogany neck has an Ebony Fingerboard that has a 12" fingerboard radius, gorgeous Mother of Pearl Block Inlays, and 22 medium jumbo frets. A 50s Rounded C Neck profile isn't too thick or thin. It's a very comfortable profile for most players.
The Gibson 490R and 498T humbuckers have some serious attitude. If you like liquid lead tones the Custom can't be beat! Each pickup has its own volume and tone control. A 3 way switch makes it easy to find your sound.
