The Taylor 314ce Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar pairs a Spruce top with Sapele back and sides. Taylor Guitars V Class Bracing boosts dynamic range, allowing for better than expected projection from this comfortably sized acoustic-electric guitar. Loaded with the Taylor Expression System 2.0, this Acoustic-Electric is fit for any scenario.

A Spruce top provides a brighter sound that is less compressed sounding than say a Mahogany Top. Sapele is a tonewood that is growing in popularity due to it's in between Mahogany and Maple thang' that works great just like, well, Mahogany and Maple! It has a singing mid-range and wide dynamic response which helps this guitar inspire you to play for hours.
