This Used 1975 Martin D 12-18 Acoustic 12-String Guitar in Natural is here on consignment. The guitar is in very nice shape for its age and sounds fantastic. We fixed a crack in the top from the bridge to the butt end which is stable now. The body does have some weather checking on it but it is quite clean for its age. The neck is straight and the frets are still crowned.
Essentially a 12 String D-18, this is a stellar acoustic model no longer made by the company. With a Sitka Spruce Top, Mahogany back and sides, this is a powerful sounding 12 string with a well-balanced tone.
The neck is made from Mahogany and it has a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. 24.9" scale offers a slinkier string feel than 25.4", the other most common Martin scale length, and helps reduce string tension a little, a smart call on a 12 string!
This is a bright and brilliant-sounding 12-string with a stellar KERRANG! that will cut through any mix. It's a focused, articulate, and crisp-sounding acoustic that has been treated well over it's 48 years on this earth!
