This Used 2022 PRS Wood Library Studio in Faded Whale Blue Smokeburst is here on consignment. There are a couple of light dings on the bass side of the guitar towards the bottom, most likely a little strap rash. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case.
This guitar features an Indian Rosewood Neck with a Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard. The back of the headstock has "Custom Built for USA Only" which lets you know it features Brazilan Rosewood! The neck has a large feeling Pattern profile which is exceptionally comfortable.
The body is made from 1 Piece of Mahogany and it is topped with a quilted maple carve top that sports large quilts. The back of the headstock is stamped 10 (as in 10 top) however this guitar features Wood Library grade pieces of wood. The Wood Library is a special place at the PRS factory in which some of the tastiest cuts of lumber are stored. Stores like us can head there and pic the exact pieces of wood we'd like to have guitars built with! It's an exceptionally cool process and it's always cool to see them go from blank to guitar!
The Studio Model features a sweet pickup configuration! With PRS’s proprietary Narrowfield pickups in the middle and bass positions and a 58/15 LT humbucking treble pickup, the PRS Studio offers punchy singlecoils, vintage scooped tones, and the chunky kick of a treble humbucker screaming in one instrument. A master volume, master tone with push pull for coil tapping are tied to a 5 way switch for an insanely versatile guitar!
