The Fender Performer Series is here to replace the American Special Series that's been in production for years now. This Precision Bass is finished in Satin Lake Placid Blue, a cool new version of the long time Fender Classic Color.
A Maple C Shaped neck is carved to a very comfortable c shape. The fingerboard radius is carved to a 9.5" and then it is topped with 20 medium jumbo frets. This is a great playing bass, that is easy on the fingers. 34" Scale length and 1.625" nut width combine for an easy to play bass.
A Jazz Bass and Precision Bass pickup are both installed in this instrument so tonewise, you really get the best of both worlds. Independent volume controls for each pickup allow you to blend the pickups to your hearts content. A master tone lets you roll off the highs and keep this beast in the sweet spot.
