This Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt ’67 Telecaster NOS by Dennis Galuszka in Blue Moto R88468 takes cool to the next level! This is a true NOS model with a build date in 2017, sometimes they hang around longer than others! Over its time at the shop, this one suffered a little wear at the headstock where the guitar hangs. Tele's and guitar store hangers are bitter rivals and somewhere along the way, this one got a little chewed up. Please check the pics for a close up look. We also Plek'ed this guitar so it comes with a perfectly level playing surface right from the get-go! This is a service we offer on new guitars for $125 and other instruments for $225. Otherwise, the guitar is still new and comes with its full warranty.

This is one absolutely stunning guitar with or without its gorgeous Blue Moto finish. It was crafted expertly by Fender Custom Shop's Masterbuilder, Dennis Galuszka, which ensures production and materials were selected carefully enough for players like Paul McCartney, Andy Summers, Johnny Marr, Patrick Stump, Mike Dirnt, Sting, and a myriad other reputable musicians Dennis has built for.

The Swamp Ash Body on this guitar is nice and light at 7 lb 4 oz. It is loud and resonates very well unplugged. Swamp Ash was the wood used on the earliest production line Fender's that hit the market. Open, Airy, resonant, and beautiful, swamp ash looks as good as it sounds! When plugged in, both the hand-wound Twisted Tele Pickup in the neck position and the hand-wound Texas Special in the bridge position really take this guitar to the next level.

The hand-wound Texas Special bridge pickup is crisp sounding with just a hint of mid-range grit that really sweetens and cleans up nicely when you turn down the volume. The hand-wound Twisted Tele neck pickup is built like a Strat pickup and dressed like a Tele neck pickup. It is a clear and open sounding neck pickup that makes fat, round, singing leads on a Tele easy, finally! Hand-winding pickups seems to open up the dynamic range, making them more responsive to the player's touch and onboard guitar controls. The amount of sounds you'll find on this 1 Tele is extremely impressive, even hitting the strings in different areas between the bridge and neck yields drastically different tones!

The neck is made from plain Maple and carved to a 60's Oval C neck shape is designed for comfort and speed. It has just the right amount of thickness for all hand sizes. With a depth of .850' at the first fret with a taper up to .920", this guitar has a nice medium-sized neck that feels full thanks to some broad shoulders. A beautiful AAA Rosewood fingerboard features 7mm Mother of Pearl Dot Inlays. Add in the 9.5" radius, 6105 frets, 1.650" Nut Width, 25.5" Scale Length, and you have one fast and easy to play guitar!
