The PRS Fiore Mark Lettieri Electric Guitar in Amaryllis is another Bolt-On offering from Paul Reed Smith. PRS developed this exceptional guitar in collaboration with Composer, Producer, Instructor Mark Lettieri. With a Swamp Ash Body, Maple Neck, and HSS pickup config, this electric guitar is equipped to handle anything you can throw at it.
The neck material chosen for this guitar is Maple. The neck profile is named after the guitar. So the Fiore Neck Profile has some heft to it. It's not as thin as many necks that you'll find on a Strat. The depth at the 1st fret is .870" while the depth at the 12th fret is .960". We feel an ultra-subtle V down in the 1st position but it's so exceptionally soft, some hands may not feel it. 25.5" scale length adds half an inch over the traditional PRS measurement making the strings feel a little tauter and adding some serious snap to the mix.
A Swamp Ash body was selected for this guitar, making the comparison to an early Stratocaster easy. This much-loved tonewood has been a bit scarce as of lately so Fender has culled their usage. PRS is using premium stuff on these guitars but who knows how long they'll have it around. The Amaryllis Color is the only one that shows off the grain of the Ash, so we really dig it!

The newly-designed PRS Fiore pickups were carefully voiced by Lettieri and PRS to allow players a platform to explore and find their voice. The Fiore-S single-coil offers exceptional malleability in tone. Capable of capturing all the articulation found in everything from whisper-quiet melodies to full-on funk and rock explosivity, this pickup reacts to each player's unique approach.
The Fiore-H humbucker fulfills Lettieri’s desire for extensive versatility in the bridge position: enough power and punch for high-gain lead tones, but with a smooth top end that allows the pickup to be played clean, even with the volume knob wide open. Both the Fiore-S and -H work seamlessly together, producing balance, clarity, and that elusive ‘bloom’ in all five positions.
PRS continues to impress us with every new guitar they introduce. This is a gorgeous guitar, with a level of elegance not typically found on bolt-on guitars. The Amaryllis Red lets the grain of the Swamp Ash body peak through
