No guitar embodies the forward thinking mentality of Guitar Guru Bob Taylor, like the Taylor 324ce Builder's Edition in Shaded Edgeburst. Made from trees that were removed from municipal area's in California, this is a fine example of environmentally responsible repurposing. And hey, let's be honest, Bob Taylor and his genius crew could build an acoustic out of popsicle sticks and it would sound and play great!
The top is made from solid Mahogany so this guitar has a warm and rich sound but still with the classic Taylor Brightness. The Shamel Ash back and sides came from municipal areas in Southern California. West Coast Arborists worked with Taylor Guitars to procure the wood for this special run of instruments.
Side note... Years ago, Bob Taylor purchased one of if not the largest Ebony harvesting company in the world. He was bothered by how much of this beautiful resource was going to waste because it wasn't all Jet Black. So he bought the company and then changed the way the industry looks at Ebony. These days we see much more colorful Ebony, with streaks, strips, and splotches of contrast.
Other mentionable's include V Class Bracing, the beveled armrest, and Taylor's Expression System 2. If you love the way Taylor Guitar's play, you will love this one. They are easy some of the most consistent acoustic guitars on the market today!
