This Used 2012 Taylor T5C Thinline Spruce Top Acoustic-Electric in Natural is in on trade and it is in great shape. It comes from a decent-sized collection so it did not see much play-time over its almost decade on this planet. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case.
The Taylor T-5C (the C stands for Custom) blurs the lines between the acoustic and electric worlds. Does it sound like an acoustic plugged in? Yes! Does it sound like an electric plugged in? Yes! What about acoustically? Well, that's where the comparison to an archtop or true hollowbody creep in. It's way louder than the average solid body but does not produce as much volume as an acoustic. It's a beautiful, trapped-between-worlds guitar that can really Spruce things up when you're looking for something new.
While there are some more elegant-looking T-5 models out there, they aren't as toneful as this one! A spruce top paired with a mahogany back provides us a timeless platform to jump off. Warmth, richness, great projection, and impressive articulation combine for an inspiring playing experience.
The lovely Taylor Neck Profile seems to feel great to everyone. This guitar is no different! The neck is made from mahogany and topped with an ebony fingerboard. The board is bound and inlaid with the Spire inlays for a great look!
Nobody treats used guitars as we do at The Music Gallery! Every trade-in goes through an inspection, cleaning, restring and set up before being put out on sale. We even put guitars with bad frets through our Plek machine if need be. If this service piques your interest learn more here or give us a call!
