This Used 1966 Gibson J-200 Super Jumbo Acoustic Guitar in Tobacco Sunburst is here on consignment. The neck has been repitched so it has some finish touch-ups on the sides. The headstock was also broken and repaired at some point. The finish is checked up and there are some dings but nothing that is likely to create issues. The guitar is holding up well though and this 58-year-old guitar has plenty of life left in it.
Perhaps the most interesting part of this guitar is the bridge. There is an ABR Bridge Piece mounted in the Rosewood bridge. This was an option at the time though not a super common one. In fact, it's the 1st time I've crossed paths with one! It gives the guitar a much brighter sound than the traditional bone saddle, reducing the big, booming low-end typical of a Super Jumbo.
