This 2020 PRS Hollowbody II Piezo in Sapphire Blue Burst is in on consignment and it is in great shape. It is clean, cosmetically, and fully functioning. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case.
In looking at the PRS Guitar Models for the one that really changed things, it's impossible not to land on the Hollowbody with Piezo. This true Hollowbody guitar was one of the 1st to convincingly get the amplified tones of both electric and acoustic guitars in one instrument. Paul spent years dialing in the pickup system with LR Baggs and it was all time and money well spent. The HBII model comes with dual outputs, one just for the Piezo and the other that mixes/blends both systems together. Plugging it into an Acoustic Amp and Electric Amp at the same time yields an incredible experience so dense with frequency your ears won't know what hit them! In a good way if I'm being unclear :)
A sweet touch of the HBII is the figured maple top AND back. This much-loved tonewood is one of the more aesthetically pleasing out there and it's made more beautiful by the Blue Burst. The sides are made of Mahogany and are finished in black (due to how the burst was sprayed). These guitars are exceptionally lightweight, ultra-resonant, and, acoustically speaking, one of the most fun electric guitars you can play.
The neck is made from Mahogany and carved into a Pattern profile. The fingerboard is made from Rosewood and has the legendary PRS Birds' inlays. A 10" fingerboard radius, 1 and 21/32" nut width, 22 frets, and 25" scale length round out the neck specs.
