This Used Fender Custom Shop '62 Jazzmaster Closet Classic in Aged Mocha Stain is here on trade. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar are the original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
This guitar is part of a run concocted by the folks at Chicago Music Exchange. It features an Alder Body, Rift Sawn Maple Neck, and Rosewood Fingerboard. It is finished in a unique color called Aged Mocha Stain. This finish allows the grain of the Alder Body to remain visible, adding layers to its look.
The neck is carved to a 59 Esquire C Profile which measures .790" in depth at the 1st fret and .970" at the 12th fret. This neck feels fairly Strat-like, especially in the 1st position. The fingerboard has a 7.25" fingerboard radius and 47095 Jescar Frets. 25.5" scale length and 1.65" nut width round out the neck specs.
A pair of Handwound Chicago Special Jazzmaster Pickups are equipped in this guitar. A master volume, master tone, and 3-way pickup selector switch round out the electronic controls.
Nobody treats used guitars as we do at The Music Gallery! Every trade-in goes through an inspection, gets cleaned, then some fresh strings, and a full set-up before being put up for sale. We often even put guitars with worn frets through our Plek machine if need be! Rest assured, any Used Guitar from The Music Gallery has certainly passed its physical!
