This Used 2018 Fender American Performer Mustang Bass in Satin Surf Green weighs in at 8 lbs 6 oz. The neck is straight, frets are still crowned, and the truss rod is functioning properly. The bass is in clean cosmetic shape with nothing negative worth mentioning. This bass does not include a case as we did not receive one with it.
The body of the USA Made Performer Mustang Bass is made from Alder, Fender's most often used tonewood. A Satin Urethane Finish is ultra-smooth to the touch and is never sticky or tacky. In fact, the more you play it, the more it will gloss up!
The neck is made from Maple and is carved into a Modern C Profile. The fingerboard is made from Rosewood and carries a 9.5" fingerboard radius. 20 x Medium Jumbo frets give us a nice tall surface to play upon. The Mustang Bass is a short-scale bass, this one measuring in at 30" for an ultra-slinky string feel.
