This Used 2020 Music Man BFR Luke III HH Koa is here on consignment. It's neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Overall the guitar is in excellent shape aside from a few marks in the finish on the back, most likely a little strap-rash. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case.
The Luke III HH is a signature model for the studio and session savage, Steve Lukather. His guitar is a true workhorse with a trick or two up its sleeve. A pair of Dimarzio Transition pickups are tied to an active 12dB boost (via a push/pull volume pot). These pickups can sound clean and spanky or can sear and sore with the best of them. A 5-way pickup selector offers both humbucker and classic "2 and 4" single coil tones.
The neck is made from Roasted Birdseye Maple and it has MM's much-loved Oil and Wax coating. It gives the neck a fast, smooth, and never-sticky feel that people fall in love with instantly. Low and wide frets give it an even faster feel, this guitar is a true player!
The body is made from Mahogany and it is topped with a stunning highly figured Koa veneer. This is a great-looking guitar made with top-notch tonewood.
